Statement of Faith

We believe in one eternal God our Creator and Redeemer who exists as three persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God, that it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Both the Old and the New Testaments are the foundation of faith and practice of Elijah Ministries.

Through the fall of Adam the world was condemned and man can do nothing in and of himself to merit salvation.

Jesus Christ the Son of God the Father humbled Himself and was born of a virgin. He became a man and was crucified as a sacrifice for our sins.
On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of God.
Salvation is therefore only possible by believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

New Testament believers are instructed to follow two ordinances. Water baptism and The Lord's Supper.
Water baptism is identifying with the death and resurrection of Christ.
Death of the old man and being raised up to newness of life.
The Lord's Supper is to be celebrated regularly in remembrance of Christ's death on the cross and in anticipation of His coming again to redeem us.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit who also guides us into all truth and who empowers us to fulfill the work of the ministry.

We believe in the literal fulfillment of prophecy, the coming rapture of the church, a tribulation followed by the return of Christ with His saints to save Israel and to judge the nations. After which, Christ shall reign for a thousand years on the earth. At the end of the millennium, there will be one final rebellion followed by the Great White Throne judgment. Then the earth will be dissolved, a new earth will be created wherein only the righteous shall dwell and God shall dwell with us forever.
